I am exhibiting again at Chelsea Flower Show 2016 between the 24th and 28th May.  My mother Lorne McKean is very generously sponsoring me again this year.  We did it together last year and I enjoyed it hugely as I got to talk about dogs all day for 5 days!

Two weeks ago at Dulwich Open House I trialed my new range of small animal sculptures, these are inspired by my huge respect for all animals great and small and they will be coming to Chelsea with me.  It was very important to me to make these smaller sculptures about the beauty of animals more affordable, and therefore more accessible to everyone than allot of sculpture can be.  I did not want to compromise on the care I take with the modeling of the work, so I have found some excellent new casters up in Cumbria and made this range of small animal sculptures unlimited editions.  I will also be showing my life-sized dog sculptures and some of my nature intervention images I developed when I was exploring the idea: How can an artist make art with nature without destroying or spoiling it?

If you are visiting the show, do drop by and say hello. My stand is on Pavilion Way (PW386).
