About Bronze Crossbreed sculptures by Tanya Russell MRBS

Tanya Russell is highly regarded for her lifelike animal sculptures, with her dog sculptures earning particular recognition. Working in both Foundry Bronze and Bronze Resin (sometimes known as Cold Cast Bronze), Tanya’s journey as a sculptor began under the guidance of her parents, the well-known sculptors Lorne McKean FRBS and Edwin Russell FRBS, at just sixteen.

Driven by her love for animals and commitment to animal welfare, Tanya has dedicated much of her work to supporting animal charities and causes. With each sale of our bronze crossbreed sculptures, 10% of the proceeds are donated to The Dogs Trust, reflecting Tanya’s mission to help animals.

About Bronze Resin & Foundry Bronze

Our bronze Golden Retriever sculptures are available in both bronze resin and foundry bronze.

Bronze resin is a blend of bronze powder and resin, offering the look of traditional bronze at a more accessible price and lighter weight. Foundry bronze, by contrast, is cast from molten metal, solid or hollow depending on the size, through the traditional lost wax casting process. This durable material often gains value over time, making it an excellent choice for lasting art.
