The beautiful bronze Standing Norfolk Terrier sculpture is a casting of an original sculpture. It is hand cast by a British foundry or resin caster and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. This is an original foundry or resin casting of the sculptor’s work that she has personally approved.
This casting is a perfect recreation of the original sculpture and bears the artist’s signature and its own unique edition number.

The inspiration behind the sculpture
The Standing Norfolk Terrier sculpture was a commission that was inspired by the breed more generally. It was commissioned by a family, in which the mother and daughter both had one Norfolk Terrier each, and ‘Pancake’ was commissioned as a Norfolk Terrier for the father.
I had fun with Pancake’s expression and coat, and I’m sure that he remains the least high-maintenance of the family’s three terriers!
How it was made
I sculpted Pancake using photographs of the other two dogs that were sent from the family. After that, I decided which pose would suit Pancake best with the client, then proceeded to model him in clay.
Once I’d sculpted Pancake a rubber mould was taken, with ‘keys’ placed in the rubber to ensure proper positioning. Then a shell of fibreglass was applied, to protect the mould and support it during the casting process.
This sculpture is new and we don’t yet have written testimonial for it.
