STANDING NORFOLK TERRIER SCULPTURE
“The Norfolk Terrier sculpture was a commission that was inspired by the breed more generally. It was commissioned by a family, in which the mother and two children both had one Norfolk Terrier each, and ‘Pancake’ was commissioned as a Norfolk Terrier for the father.
I had fun with Pancake’s expression and coat, and I’m sure that he remains the least high-maintenance of the family’s three terriers!”
This bronze norfolk terrier statue bears Tanya’s signature and unique edition number. Your casting of the Standing Norfolk Terrier sculpture will be personally approved and will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
10% of the proceeds from this bronze dog sculpture support ‘The Dogs Trust’ animal charity.

This handsome lifesized norfolk terrier statue is sculpted by the artist Tanya Russell, who is the UK’s pre-eminent dog sculptor. Tanya has a passion for improving the welfare of the animals she sculpts and 10% of all proceeds from the Standing Norfolk Terrier statue will go to the ‘Dogs Trust’, a charity that provides sanctuary and rehoming services for dogs in the UK and also lobbies for welfare policy changes all over the world. The Standing Norfolk Terrier is a limited edition sculpture, and your piece will be a superb recreation of the original clay norfolk terrier sculpture, taken from a mould.
Your bronze dog sculpture can be cast in Bronze Resin or Foundry Bronze metal depending on which material you prefer.
How The Sculpture Was Made
I sculpted Pancake using photographs of the other two dogs that were sent from the family. After that, I decided which pose would suit Pancake best with the client, then proceeded to model him in clay.
Once I’d sculpted Pancake a rubber mould was taken, with ‘keys’ placed in the rubber to ensure proper positioning. Then a shell of fibreglass was applied, to protect the mould and support it during the casting process.
