SITTING GIRL HOLDING FRENCH BULLDOG SCULPTURE

The Sitting Girl Holding French Bulldog sculpture is of Beth, a gorgeous young woman with a huge heart for her mother and all her friends. Beth loved her family’s French Bulldogs, including the incredibly loyal Alfie, and her sculpture was commissioned to sit on a stone bench in Beth’s memorial garden in Oregon. There are very few commissions I can say touched my heart so deeply as this commission did, and by the time that I finished, I felt so connected with Beth and her mum that it is difficult to explain here how much trying to capture Beth’s gentle happiness in bronze meant to me. When I think of the US, I think mostly of Beth and her mum, and when I think of them, I also feel deep inside me how lucky I have been to feel their love extended to include me.

This bronze girl statue bears Tanya’s signature and unique edition number. Your casting of the Sitting Girl Holding a French Bulldog sculpture will be personally approved and will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

10% of the proceeds from this bronze sculpture support the 'The Dogs Trust', 'David Shepherd Wildlife Trust' and ‘All Creatures Great and Small’ charities.

Which Material to Choose

Bronze Resin – bronze metal powder is mixed with a resin to create the appearance of foundry bronze metal, but is more affordable and lightweight.

Foundry Bronze  – refers to the poured molten metal that is cast solid or hollow, depending on size, at a bronze foundry (using the traditional lost wax process). It is more robust and will appreciate in value.
